HR Success Stories

A successful HR story is a project, practice, or initiative implemented within the past two years that delivered a measurable impact on people, the organization, and HR processes.

Share the story of the challenge you identified, the solution you designed, and the results you achieved.

HR stories can come from a wide range of areas, including talent acquisition, employee and organizational development, organizational design, culture, employer branding, wellbeing, HR digitalization, performance management, DEI initiatives, and other HR practices that push boundaries within your organization.

If you have worked on a project that improved how your company works with people, this is the right place to share it.

Each submission should clearly include:

• Context – the environment in which the project emerged and the problem it addressed
• Relevance – why this initiative mattered to the organization and its people
• Innovation – po čemu je pristup bio drugačiji ili nov za vašu organizaciju ili HR zajednicu
• Results  – concrete outcomes and benefits for employees, teams, or the business

Applications are submitted through a short and simple online form and are completely free of charge.

It is important to describe your practice in enough detail to give the jury a clear understanding of the context, challenges, approach, and results. Focus on what made the difference and how the project impacted the organization and its people.

We recommend including supporting materials (presentations, internal documents, measurement results, employee feedback, etc.) that further substantiate your story.

One company may submit multiple practices; however, only one story per company can be selected for the TOP 5.

Eligible projects are those implemented from January 1, 2024, up until the official closing date of the competition, provided that the results of the project have been measured and clearly demonstrated. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

After the application period closes, all eligible submissions are reviewed by an independent expert jury composed of experienced and respected HR professionals from Serbia and the wider region.

Based on the jury’s evaluation, the Top 5 most successful HR stories are selected and presented at the conference.

Following the live presentations, the audience votes for the recipient of a special award, directly involving the HR community in selecting the story that made the strongest impact.

This year’s prestigious awards ceremony will take place as part of the HR Experience conference on May 28, on the main stage of the Sava Center in Belgrade.

he Top 5 selected stories will be presented live at the HR Experience conference through a 10-minute public presentation.

The presentation should be delivered by a company representative who was directly involved in the project (HR, PR, marketing, or another team member) and who can clearly tell the story through three key stages: challenge – solution – results.

The presentation should ideally include key insights, lessons learned, mistakes made, and practical recommendations for other organizations.

A maximum of two presenters may represent a single project.

The presentation must be submitted in advance, using the template provided by the organizer.

The Top 5 HR Success Stories will be promoted on our HR blog in the form of an article, as well as on the HR Experience website and our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn).

All companies that submit a story will be invited to a private event featuring a discussion on HR success stories, guided by industry experts. The aim is to create a space for knowledge exchange and valuable insights
