HR Success Stories

“HR Successl Stories” is a project launched by Infostud with the aim of promote and reward positive HR practices in companies operating in Serbia and the region, with the goal of improving the HR sector and the labor market in general.

It is the competitive part of the "HR Experience" conference and it encourages the exchange of ideas and experiences in HR. It provides an opportunity for HR experts to howcase their work and share practical insights with the HR community on how to enhance the employee experience.

What is considered an HR Success Story?

An HR success story is any HR practice, process, or initiative that you have implemented in the past two years that has improved people management, business operations, or the HR in general and that you wish to share and showcase with your peers. You can choose a practice from any HR area - talent acquisition, organizational and employee development, organizational design and culture, employer branding, wellbeing, etc...

What should each story contain?

Context – The project must be within an area of HR.
The significance of the problem or topic the project addresses.
Innovative impact on the organization or the HR community
How the company and employees benefit from the project

How do I submit a case?

Applications are free and can be submitted through a short and simple online questionnaire.

When filling out the questionnaire, it is very important to provide a detailed description of your case so the jury has enough information for evaluation. Focus on the case that delivered strong results and ensure your story is clear and consistent. Feel free to attach any supporting documents that help complete your story.

A company can submit multiple stories; however, only one can be selected for the TOP 5. Eligible projects must have been implemented between January 1, 2023, and March 23, 2025, with measurable results. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

How should the practice be presented?

The Top 5 stories will be showcased live at the conference on May 26, 2025. The presenter must be a company representative who is well-informed about the project and has strong presentation skills (this could be an HR expert, PR professional, or marketing specialist). The presenter will have 10 minutes to highlight the challenges and results of the project.

If multiple company departments or external companies have participated in the project, one additional person may join the presentation. A maximum of two people can present a single project.

It is mandatory to submit the presentation by the specified deadline, following the guidelines provided by the conference organizer.

Every presentation should include:

What inspired the project, and what were the expected results?
Phases, sequence, and key challenges in project implementation.
Key benefits for employees and the company, as well as the most significant results.
How the measured results indicate the success of the project (numbers, feedback from employees and management, achieved targets).

What is the process for selecting award-winning practices?

All relevant submissions are evaluated by an independent expert jury composed of eight experienced and respected HR professionals from Serbia and the region.

Based on the ratings and decision of the jury, we select the Top 5 stories that will be showcased live at the conference and awarded the "Top 5" recognition. Additionally, one story will receive the Grand Prix award, chosen by the audience. How are HR Success Stories promoted?

The Top 5 HR Success Stories will be promoted on our HR blog in the form of an article, as well as on the HR Experience website and our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn).

All companies that submit a story will be invited to a private event featuring a discussion on HR success stories, guided by industry experts. The aim is to create a space for knowledge exchange and valuable insights.
