Terms of Use of the hrexperience.rs Website and Participation in the HR Experience Conference

General Provisions

These Terms of Use govern the rights and obligations relating to the use of the HR Experience website (hereinafter: the Service) and participation in the HR Experience conference (hereinafter: the Conference).

The Service is available at the web address www.hrexperience.rs.

The Service constitutes an information society service provided by INFOSTUD 3 DOO SUBOTICA, Matije Korvina 17, 4th floor, 24000 Subotica, Republic of Serbia, registration number: 20175095, VAT number: 104505119 (hereinafter: the Company).

The Conference is organized by the Company in the field of current HR trends, with the aim of gathering leading domestic and international HR professionals who, as speakers, focus on employment-related topics and the exchange of practical experiences and knowledge with participants. Information on the time and place of the Conference, as well as other relevant details, is available at https://www.hrexperience.rs/o-konferenciji/. https://www.hrexperience.rs/o-konferenciji/.

These Terms of Use define the conditions and manner in which the Conference will be organized and held, the procedure for event registration, terms of participation, and other relevant aspects.

By accessing and using the Company’s Service, registering for the Conference, or participating in the Conference, users of the Service/applicants for participation/Conference participants agree to these Terms of Use, thereby concluding an accession agreement with the Company as the provider of the information society service.

The Company’s operations via this Service are primarily governed by the Law on Electronic Commerce, the Law on Obligations, the Law on Copyright and Related Rights, the Law on Trademarks, the Law on Personal Data Protection, and other applicable laws of the Republic of Serbia to the extent not regulated by the aforementioned laws.

The Company is committed to upholding and implementing personal data protection rights afforded to natural persons. The purpose of personal data collection is defined in the Privacy Notice available at: https://www.hrexperience.rs/obavestenje-o-obradi-podataka-licnosti/..

Description of the Service

The Service is intended for all interested legal and natural persons who wish to obtain information about the Conference, register for the Conference, and secure their participation in the Conference and the "Successful HR Stories" project.

Any use of the Service, in whole or in part, that is not in accordance with these Terms of Use shall be deemed a misuse of the services provided by the Company and a violation of the Terms of Use.

Tickets and Registration for Conference Participation

Ticket Purchase and Registration

Participation in the Conference is subject to ticket purchase.

Tickets may be purchased in one of the following ways:

  1. Through the platform Ticketline.rsan authorized ticket sales intermediary. In such cases, the ticket purchase and collection shall be carried out in accordance with the terms of service of the Ticketline.rs platform, available at: https://www.ticketline.rs/uslovi-poslovanja.phpThe Organizer assumes no liability for the terms of sale, refund policies, or other matters within the responsibility of the Ticketline.rs platform.
  2. By direct contact with a representative of the Organizer,whose phone number is listed on the Conference website homepage. After the user provides the necessary information for issuing a pro forma invoice, payment is made to the Organizer’s account. Upon receipt and confirmation of payment, the tickets shall be deemed purchased and valid.

The Organizer reserves the right to limit the number of participants and to suspend registration upon reaching full capacity. Registration is considered successfully completed only after payment has been made and a valid ticket obtained.

Purchased tickets are intended solely for end-use by the applicant or persons to whom the applicant directly assigns them, and further sale, resale, or distribution to third parties, whether for consideration or free of charge, is not permitted.

HR Success Stories

Persons registered for the Conference may, within the scope of the Conference, submit, promote, and present practices and projects from their business related to HR. Submitted projects and practices shall not contain personal data. The best practices and projects will be awarded recognition. HR projects may include any HR practice, process, or activity implemented within the last two years that has improved people management, business operations, or HR sector performance. Projects may fall within any HR field, including but not limited to: talent acquisition, organizational and employee development, compensation, organizational design, employer branding, etc.

Participants in the Successful HR Stories project consent to the presentation of their projects and practices to other Conference attendees and the general public, and agree to their publication and presentation on the Service.

Recording and Conference Materials

By registering and/or participating in the Conference, consent is granted to the Company as the Organizer to record, film, and/or photograph the event, to make such recordings publicly available after the event, and to modify, use, distribute, and publish such recordings in any form.

Participants are prohibited from recording, documenting, or photographing the lectures.

Copyright on the Service and Conference Content

The Company holds exclusive copyright and intellectual property rights to the Service and all its constituent elements, including but not limited to: text, visual and audio content, visual identity, data and databases, source code, and other elements of the Service authored by the Company.

Unauthorized use of any part of the Service, or the Service in its entirety, without the prior express written consent of the Company as the exclusive copyright holder, shall constitute an infringement of the Company’s copyright and is subject to legal action to the fullest extent of the law.

The Service may also include elements subject to exclusive trademark rights or other intellectual property rights held by third parties, such as company names, trademarks, or logos of Conference participants and/or contributors to the Successful HR Stories project. By participating in the Conference and/or the project, the participant agrees that such elements may be displayed to all visitors of the Service.

Any lecture materials made available to participants are protected by copyright and are intended for the participant’s personal use only. They may not be copied, transcribed, reproduced, distributed for commercial purposes, or otherwise used beyond personal use.

Limitation of Liability

Applicants and/or participants in the Conference explicitly acknowledge that the Company shall not be liable under any circumstances for the conduct of other participants or third parties, and that any risk of potential harm resulting from such conduct is borne exclusively by those parties, in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Serbia.

Participants acknowledge that all opinions expressed by speakers at the Conference are their own and that the Company shall not be held liable for any advice, opinions, recommendations, or instructions expressed during lectures.

The Service may be temporarily unavailable or available in a limited capacity due to regular or emergency system maintenance or upgrades.

The Organizer shall not be held liable for any technical issues, delays, or the inability to carry out the Conference resulting from force majeure events, including but not limited to: extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, epidemics, fires, strikes, security incidents, decisions of competent authorities, emergency or crisis situations, or other unforeseeable and unavoidable circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer.

In the event of postponement or cancellation of the Conference due to the aforementioned reasons, the Organizer will, to the extent possible, inform participants of the next steps, including potential options for transferring the registration fee to a new date or refunds, of which participants will be duly informed via the official Conference communication channels.

Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution

Any matters not regulated by these Terms of Use shall be governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of Serbia.

All disputes arising between the Company on one side and users, applicants, or participants on the other in connection with the use of the Service shall be resolved in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Serbia. All parties agree to attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. Should an amicable resolution not be reached, jurisdiction shall lie with the Commercial Court in Subotica for legal entities or the Basic Court in Subotica for natural persons.
