Dr Ronald Seeliger

President and CEO, Hemofarm Group

At the interactive panel The Leadership Trial: Are Leaders Guilty or Misunderstood? Dr Ronald Seeliger will join fellow participants in addressing real questions about leadership mistakes, the role of HR, and the true impact of leaders’ decisions on teams and business performance.

Dr Ronald Seeliger has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hemofarm Group, since 2012. Hemofarm Group is the leading pharmaceutical company in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina, the major exporter of pharmaceuticals and one of the largest exporters overall.

Dr Seeliger graduated from the Technical University in Berlin, and he attended the London School of Economics and IMD business school in Lausanne. He continued his career in business as a management member of large industrial systems in Europe, Australia, and Asia. Dr Seeliger was also the Director of Controlling in Formula 1.

Hemofarm is a member of STADA Group, one of the leading European and German generic pharmaceutical producers, and Dr Seeliger oversees the operations of this company in the West Balkan countries. His key business task, as the head of Hemofarm Group, is to improve not only the company’s performance and portfolio, but also the position of Hemofarm (as a part of STADA Group) in the regional and global pharmaceutical market.

Besides leading largest regional pharmaceutical company, Ronald is also a Director of Foreign Investment Council in Serbia and serves as a Board member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia.
